The price broke 9000.00 round number and the previous market high. It confirmed an upward movement, and we got a new market high at 9446.00 level. The price moved sideways, and this consolidation gave us a flag chart pattern. It belongs to a continuation group of patterns. If the price breaks the upper line of the flag, it will be a bullish signal. The main target for buyers should be 10 000.00 resistance level . Will the market act like this? I think it is possible as many times we could see the upward movements when the market was overbought. It is against logic, but sometimes any market can move like this, and we must be ready.
The 2nd variant of the market movement can be like this – the price reverses from the local top and moves back to 9000.00 support. RSI shows us that the market looks overbought. RSI confirmed the price reversal as well. MACD lines and histogram are going to support a possible downward movement. The 1st target for sellers will be at 9000.00 support. If the price breaks this level, be ready to see the downward movement to SMA100 and SMA200. Reversal signals from these zones will be used for buying. Of course, if you want to join to the main uptrend and trade in short/medium term. For the long term trading, it will be better to wait for a correction movement in the daily and weekly charts.
